last night, i finally went to see bob schneider at the rhythm room. devido had been talking about this guy for years and i always had a clever excuse as to why i wasn't going to go. i finally sucked it up and went to see what the fuss was about. ali joined too, and it was great seeing her again for the first time in ages.
so, the first two paragraphs were written a little over a month ago. damn, how time has flown by! i've since been to jerome twice, flagstaff once (for rotary - and i didn't get to speak!), and got a new computer. and got $350 back because they lowered prices since i made the purchase.
one of the best days i had was when i got to steal my niece for an afternoon.
other than that, work has been a headache. but it's much, much more relaxed now. i don't have to stress about having a job during this transition to a new vice president over the department (especially one that doesn't value my position as the old one did!). and now i'm less than three months away from moving overseas.
all in all, very exciting times! and i hope to blog more about it...
